This is what Charleston is saying about BTMA:
"Tripp really loves piano. Sometimes I can't get him to stop playing it at home and I credit that love of music to Mr. Braeden. He is very patient and makes learning so fun for Tripp. I have never once heard Tripp complain about going to piano lessons. In fact, he is always asking 'Is it time for piano?' I am so happy and blessed to have found Black Tie Music Academy for Tripp to share a love a music with!"
-Shelby, mom of Tripp
"They are really enjoying class- thanks Mr. Jason for making the learning so much fun!"
"My daughter has been taking music lessons at Black Tie Music Academy (BTMA) for about a year - first a couple of group lessons and then one on one with Mr. James. She recently started with Mrs. Kris working on the drums and even some art lessons! I have loved watching her love of music grow into the application of it. Everyone at BTMA is warm, open and you can tell they want to share their love of music with the students that attend. I know my daughter will want to continue at BTMA for years to come. Thanks!"
"My boys, age 6 and 9, have learned so much in just a few lessons. Elliot, 6 knows all the notes on the piano and even some basic drum beats. Felix knows guitar chords and can play a few songs. They look forward to their lessons and we all love Mr. Braeden's energy and musical multitalent."
-Rikke, mom of Elliot and Felix
"There have many triumphs and benefits for my son since he began lessons at Black Tie Music Academy. Our first indication of quality instruction came at our first lesson. Mr. Braeden asked me, as a parent, what were my goals or hopes for these lessons. Ever single step taken in our plan since has been directly related to our shared goals. Beyond that, my son happily practices and has already seen great success. The other night in his prayers he said "Dear Lord, thank you for giving me natural rhythm and Mr. Braeden to teach me." That says it all!
-Zoe, mom of Aidan
While learning to play drums and piano can be challenging for younger kids, That Girl Drummer, Mrs. Kris, has also taught our children that it can be FUN and EMPOWERING, as well! Black Tie Music Academy is the real deal in music instruction, so thank you, Black Tie, for making your dream big enough to include ours.
-The McCoy Family (Sullivan's Island)
"Our five year old has shown an interest in guitar for quite sometime. I was not sure if he was old enough to start taking lessons. Mr. Ben met with him and assured me he would do fine. Pinckney asks me every day if he can practice and if it is "guitar" day. Mr. Ben is a fabulous teacher and really knows how to connect with his students."
"My children were losing heart and discouraged about music until Mr. Derek came along. Now, they are excited to learn music and playing their favorite songs! I love the beautiful music that fills my house. Mr. Derek has a gift for teaching and an amazing music talent that he puts to great use by inspiring children. I have seen remarkable results!"
"Noah is LOVING his piano lessons with Mrs. Kris. Thank you so much for the time and energy you put in to my boy. You are a gift!” - Wendy via Facebook
